Shabbat for May

Shalom all,

Shabbat services for May will be held this Friday, May 13th at the Temple in Crescent City (956 J street) and will begin at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, May 14th, we will continue our class "The Torah - Inconsistencies and Survival" based upon two books - "The Book of J" and "The Jew in the Lotus".  Class on Saturday will also be held at the Temple in Crescent City beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Class fees are $50/person (or $5/class) and are based on a ten session course.

And, once again, I'd like to remind folks that Temple activities don't come without a cost and if one values what Temple Beth Shalom has to offer, financial support is necessary.  While we never turn people away for lack of funds, we expect and appreciate support at the rate of $150 per person or $300 per couple for the year 5776.  If you are fortunate to be able to give more, that generosity is greatly appreciated.  And I should add that the earlier you make your contribution of dues, the less financial stress is put upon the Temple and planning for the year is made easier for all concerned.  Thank you, in advance, for your consideration.
