Shabbat services and class THIS weekend!

Shalom all,

Even with a stormy weekend, we managed to get a decent turnout last month for Shabbat services and our Saturday morning class.  This weekend, we continue with our regular Shabbat services and class, "Jewish Sacred Texts".  This will be the third class of ten so anyone who would like to participate, can certainly join us at this early stage.  Classes are $5/class or $50 for the ten session class.  The text for the class is called, "Back To The Sources: Reading The Classic Jewish Texts" and can be purchased on Amazon for $13.83 plus shipping.

Shabbat services and the class this weekend will be at the Temple in Crescent City - 956 J Street; Crescent City, CA.  Time for services on Friday, November 14th is at 7:00 p.m. and our class on Saturday, November 15th will be at 10:00 a.m.

If you haven't already paid your membership dues or class fees, please do so as soon as possible.   We expect your support in the amount of $150/person or $300/couple for the year 5775.  We never turn people away for lack of funds but if you are lucky enough to be able to give more, that too, is appreciated.  Thanks to new members, Alice Timmens of Crescent City and Linda Smith of Brookings.  Welcome to Temple Beth Shalom and thanks for your support.
