Torah study continues Saturday, May 5, at the temple from 4:30- 6 P.M. This week, we are studying Acharei Mot/Kedoshim, Leviticus 16:1-20:27.. These two sections contain the Holiness Code, the central tenets of Judaism. This is also just halfway through the first five books of the Bible.
We will not meet May 11 and 12, but we will have services and Torah study May 18 and19.
Sunday, May 20 at 5 P.M., we will meet as a congregation to decide the future of Temple Beth Shalom. Judi Lewis has been treasurer, and I have been president for two years. We both feel it is time for new leadership. Attendance has been low at services, and we are considering suspending services for the summer. Please attend this important meeting. Refreshments will be served.
