We will meet to greet shabbat at the temple, 956 J Street in Crescent City, at 7 P.M. this Friday. Rabbi Joe Hample, the rabbi at Pelican Bay and a Beth Shalom member, has volunteered to lead services and torah study this weekend.

Torah study continues this Saturday at 4:30 at the temple. This week we are reading Matot, Numbers 30:2- 32:42. The section begins with the rules for making vows and how they are different for men and women, and includes a battle against the Midianites.
