We will meet again at the temple, 956 J Street in Crescent City, at 7 P.M. Friday to greet shabbat.
Torah study is off this weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience, but at this point no one is available to lead it. The parsha this week is Mas'ey, Numbers 33:1 to 36:13. God sets out the boundaries of the future Israelite land, and there is a discussion of the cities of refuge and the levitical towns. This is the last section of the book of Numbers.
To continue services and Torah study in August, we need service leaders and people to guarantee they will come and open the temple for study on Saturdays. I am away until September, and Joe may not be available for much of August. Rabbi Les is due back with us at the end of August.
Send a note to delnortebethshalom@gmail.com if you are interested in helping the congregation in August. Let us know what dates you are available and someone will get you a key.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.
