Torah study continues from 4:30 to 6 Saturday afternoon at the temple. The parsha this week is Pinchas, Numbers 25:10- 30:1. This section contains the elevation of Pinchas to a position of honor, the rights of daughters to inherit, through the story of Zelophahad's daughters, a new census, and a schedule of the holidays with the appropriate sacrifices for each.
Plans are afoot for the High Holy Days. Rosh Hashana begins the evening of Wednesday, September 28.
