We will gather again to welcome shabbat at 7 P.M. Friday at the temple, 956 J Street in Crescent City. Jill Munger has offered to lead services for us this week.

Torah study continues from 4:30-6 P.M. Saturday. Our parsha this week is Balak, in whichBalaam is told by Balak to curse Israel, but instead blesses Israel with the words "Ma tovu ohalecha Yaacov", or "How Goodly are Your Tents, O Jacob." On the way, Balaam's donkey speaks to him.This section is Numbers 22:2-25:9. Jill will also lead Torah study on Saturday.

We decided last year to continue services and Torah study through the summer. Please come out and support Jill and the temple this weekend if you are in town.
