Our Chanukkah party is set for 5 PM this Saturday, December 4 at the Crescent City Coast Guard Auxiliary, 150 Marine Way in the harbor area of Crescent City. Vivien has graciously offered to call people to arrange pot-luck donations. If you have not heard from her and want to attend, please call her at 541-412-7105 to confirm your attendance and what you are bringing.
Also, we will be lighting Chanukiot (menorahs). If you have one, please bring it with candles.
Rabbi Les Scharnberg will lead a brief service with the candle lighting. We will also sing Chanukkah songs.
Thanks to Judi and Barbara for making arrangements and making potato latkes for the congregation. Thanks to Jill for her help and reserving the site.
Please come out and celebrate what may be the only Jewish holiday event on the North Coast/South Coast.
