Thanksgiving Week

There will be no services or Torah study this week at Beth Shalom. Most of our regulars will be away for the weekend. The Torah portion for the week is Vayeshev, the beginning of the Joseph story, Genesis 37:1-40:23.

Chanukkah begins the evening of December 1. We will have services Friday night , December 3 at the temple, and Torah study December 4.

Saturday night, December 4, is our gala Chanukkah latke-fest and pot luck. It should be fun for all ages. The party will be at 6 PM at the Coast Guard Auxiliary Hall in Crescent City Harbor. More details next week.

Our newsletter will be available during Chanukkah, online. If you would like to submit an article, there is still time.

Our board members, Barbara and Judi and I wish everyone a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
