Winding down

Shalom to all!

The TBS year is rapidly winding down (Is that an accurate description?) as we announce the penultimate Shabbat of the year 5775.

Friday, May 8th (my granddaughter's 1st birthday, if ya didn't know), we will be celebrating Shabbat at the Temple in Crescent City (956 J Street in Crescent City, CA).  Services begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be led (as usual) by Rabbi Les Scharnberg.

On Saturday, May 9th, Rabbi Les will lead another class on "Jewish Sacred Texts", which will also be held at the Temple in Crescent City beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Fees for the class are $5.00 per session or $50.00 for the ten session class.  Also, if you have not helped with membership dues as yet, please consider doing so.  While we never turn people away for lack of funds, we expect and appreciate support at the rate of $150 per person or $300 per couple for the year 5775.

Our final Shabbat of the year will be held June 12th and 13th in Brookings.  I hope to see you this Shabbat at the Temple in Crescent City.
