services and class next weekend

Here's hoping we all have a good quiet week!

Next weekend however will be full of activity. Friday night Jan.11, 2013 at 7:00 are services at the Temple in Crescent City- 956 J street. Please feel free to bring oneg goodies.

Saturday Jan.12 at 11:00  (note NOT 10 o'clock) will be the first of the Kaballah classes led by Rabbi Les Scharnberg.

Don't forget the reading material needed. The book is named "Tanya" - the masterpiece of Hasidic Wisdom. Selections annotated and Explained, Skylight Illuminations. The introduction was a bit stiff, but I found the author to be easier to understand. Anyone who needs help ordering or uploading to a kindle (we'll have to find a teenager). We have 8 who are committed to the class. Please call to confirm if you have not RSVP'd yet. 707-464-5337.
