Happy early  secular New Year to all- I will be happy when all the holiday madness has past!

 There will be services Friday Jan.11 at 7:00 at Temple Beth Shalom, 956 "j" street in Crescent City, Calif. Services will be led by Rabbi Les Scharnberg.

There has been interest in a Kaballah class so we will have one! The class will last for 5 sessions, and requires a book called "Tanya, the masterpiece of Hasidic Wisdom" Selections Annotated and Explained by Rabbi Rami Shapiro.  I was able to upload to my kindle for  $9.98 or order it from Amazon or a real book store (there is one in Harbor, Oregon). The tuition for this class is $25.00- no refunds if you drop the class. All sessions taught by Rabbi Les Scharnberg. The first session will be Saturday Jan.12th at the Temple at 11:00 A.M.

Please contact me with a reply or phone call if you intend to take the class.
