Our Chanukkah party last Saturday was a smashing success. Thanks to all who attended and brought food. Special thanks to Rabbi Les Scharnburg, who enlightened us with his words and uplifted us with his music, and to Jill and Vivian, who organized and supervised the event.

We are back with our regular Friday night worship service this Friday at 7 P.M. at the temple, 956 J Street in Crescent City.
Torah study resumes Saturday from 4:30- 6 P.M. at the temple. We will study Vayigash, Genesis 44:18-47:27. This is the climax of Joseph's story, as he reveals himself to his brothers and is ultimately reunited with his father.
