We will gather at the temple, 956 J Street in Crescent City, this Friday at 7 PM to greet Shabbat. Our friend Abby will be leading services. We will be saying goodbye to the Del Norte County growing season, and to our organic farmers, Sara and Morris, as they move on to new adventures. Please join our congregation for this service.
Torah study continues Saturday from 10 AM to noon. This week, we read Chaye Sara, the life of Sarah. This section begins with the death of Sarah, at Genesis 23:1, and goes to Genesis 25:18.
We are looking for articles for our Chanuka newsletter, to be issued the end of next month. It will be festive, and a kind of year-end summary of the events at TBS in 2010. Let me know at delnortebethshalom@gmail.com if you have an idea for an article. We also need service leaders for November and December.
