It is my sad task to report to you that our friend and congregant, Jim Rybolt, passed away last Thursday afternoon. Jim suffered a massive stoke several weeks ago and was flown down to a hospital in San Francisco, where he had surgery and was in the process of recovery. He was subsequently transferred to a nursing facility in Coos Bay, Oregon, and was making progress before suffering a reversal last week. His wife, Vivian, is in the process of making funeral arrangements but for those who wish to attend, graveside services are expected to be this Saturday, August 25th at the cemetery in Brookings with Rabbi Les Scharnberg officiating. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
