Grand Finale

Shalom!

This month, we are going to be doing something a little different to mark the end of the 5775 Temple season.

Instead of our usual Friday evening Shabbat service at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, June 12thwe are planning to have an earlier mincha service beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by a pot luck dinner, where we can relax and not have to rush the Shabbat meal in order to go to services.  Marty and Ellen have graciously offered their home as the site for services and the pot luck Shabbat dinner.  As usual, services will be led by Rabbi Les Scharnberg.

Because of the necessity to plan for and coordinate the number of people and food items for the pot luck, we are requesting that you R.S.V.P.   If you have not already done so, please R.S.V.P. to:

(Elizabeth wanted her contact information deleted after the event so, that's why this has been changed)

Thank you, in advance, for your attention to this.  I'm sure it will be appreciated by Marty and Ellen as well as Elizabeth.  Finally, if you don't know where Marty and Ellen live and/or need directions, ask when you R.S.V.P.

On Saturday, June 13th, Rabbi Les will be leading the final class of 5775 on "Jewish Sacred Texts".  The class will be held in the Curry Coastal Pilot conference room on the lower level.  Please enter through the red doors at the rear of the building off Art Walk Alley.  Fees for the class are $5.00 per session or $50.00 for the ten session class.  Also, if you have not helped with membership dues as yet, please consider doing so.  While we never turn people away for lack of funds, we expect and appreciate support at the rate of $150 per person or $300 per couple for the year 5775.

So, I hope to see you all at this very special final Shabbat of the year celebration on June 12th and 13th.

B'shalom,

  - Marty
