Chanukah Party

Hi all-

   Thank you for those that came to last weekends' excellent Shabbos service and class on Saturday.

  I hope there was no chaos from the change of venue. There was a reminder email that went out on Thursday about the change that had an incorrect date. There are NO services on Nov. 23. The next regularly schedules service and class will be held Dec. 6th and 7th BOTH in Brookings. I will put out an reminder first week in December.

  CHANUKAH PARTY!!! December 1st SUNDAY at 3:00 is a potluck at the Coast Guard Auxiliary Hall in Crescent City. Bring your Thanksgiving leftovers and your family menorah and candles. I have plenty of dreidels. The CGAuxiliary Hall is located in the Crescent City Harbor next to the Harbor Art Gallery. There is a fabulous ceramic mural of battery point lighthouse on the sign and a large sign that reads "Coast Guard Auxiliary Hall". There is a full kitchen there for latke making.

Suggestions for the next topic of our classes are needed. "Hebrew in the prayerbook" has been suggested, as well as " Judaic sources". Please respond to this email if you have a topic for a 6 week class.
