Greetings all,
Here are a few last minute details that have
come up for Temple Beth Shaloms' holiday schedule. If it is in red, it is a new
addition.
Rosh Hashanah
Erev Rosh Hashanah service will be in Brookings at the Curry
Coastal Pilot building on Wednesday Sept.4th from 7-9.
September 5th Rosh
Hashanah day will start at 10-12 at Temple Beth Shalom- 956 "J"
Street in Crescent City. Tashlich will follow at the "B" Street Pier
in Crescent City.
Looking for someone who will bake a
traditional round challah with raisins for these services.
Yom Kippur
Friday night Yom Kippur service will be at the Curry Coastal
Pilot building on Chetco Ave. in Brookings. Services will start at 7 p.m.
Saturday Yom Kippur services will be at Temple Beth Shalom
956 "J" Street in Crescent City. Services will start at 10-2. A yizkor service will start at 5:00. When concluded,
the final service will be begin. The concluding service is normally done much
later in the day, but an effort is being made to end while there is daylight
for the safe travel home of all who must travel. The Rabbi has been
forwarded any names recieved so far for the yizkor service. Please bring a
small light snack to break the fast.
Looking for lodging for the Rabbi
Rosh Hashanah,as well as a few congregants from the Chavurah who will be
attending. Please email if you have room.
