Brown Shawl

Hope everyone is having a great week and thank you for your attendance at the last Friday night service, and Saturday morning Kaballah class.

During the Pesach seder, a handmade brown shawl was lovingly donated by Judi Lewis to raffle off as a fundraiser. The bids were placed in a red cup, that I think got cleared with the dishes. I went home wearing the shawl- and still have it. If you made a bid for the shawl, please reply so the "winner" can take it home- That is what we get for being so darn efficient!

Photos of the seder were uploaded to the blog for your enjoyment by Miriam Felt.

Plans were made for the next service and Kaballah class on the first weekend in May. Please stay tuned for a more formal announcement as time gets closer. We also discussed standardizing the schedule, so even if publicity lacks for the newspapers, or emails, the congregation would know it was perhaps the first weekend of every month, or whatever is decided.

The Rabbi will be unavailable in June and July, so a potluck/lay service gathering was suggested. Financial stability, and sharing the hosting of the Rabbi were also discussed.

Please reply with comments if you have any suggestions. Just look what result the "kaballah class" suggestion had on the momentum we are all enjoying now!

                                           Stay tuned, Jill
