Thanks to Jill for making the arrangements for our successful Passover seder this past Saturday, and to Vivien and Jill for calling everyone to make reservations. Thanks also to Rabbi Les Scharnberg for leading the seder, and to everyone who participated and brought all the scrumptious food.
Passover ends Monday night for Reform and Tuesday night in Orthodox and Conservative Judaism. The Chabad calendar on the website gives the ending time as 8:52 Tuesday. If you are Reform you may end at that time Monday.
We will meet for services this Friday at 7 PM at the temple, 956 J Street in Crescent City.
Torah study continues Saturday from 4:30-6:30. The parsha is Kedoshim, Leviticus 19:1-20:27. This is the holiness code, including the line "Love your neighbor as yourself."
