This Week at Beth Shalom

We will gather to celebrate shabbat this Friday at 7 PM at the temple, 956 J St in Crescent City. Barbara Johnston will be leading services.

Torah study continues Saturday from 10 AM to noon at the temple. We will be studying about Noah and the ark, and the tower of Babel in Genesis 6:9 - 11:32.

We need a volunteer to lead Friday night October 15 and October 29. Rabbi Les Scharnberg returns to Beth Shalom to lead services Friday night, October 22 and Torah study October 23.

Autumn has returned; the holidays have ended. We will soon be in Cheshvan, the month with no holidays (except shabbat). Now would be a good time to write an article for the next temple newsletter in time for Chanuka, hopefully. Send me an idea by return e-mail, or write an article and send it.
