December's Last Shabbat..

A few weeks ago we had a really wonderful Chanukkah party at the Ship. The gathering had over 30 people and tons of great potluck food. I want to thank everyone who attended and express my appreciation for making the evening a huge success. Rabbi Les thrilled us with humor and music, bringing friends and family together as only he can do. My family and I had a wonderful time and I look forward to seeing you all again at our next major function in the Spring. Please be sure and keep up with the calendar of events and let me know if you would like to add something new to our TBS agenda. Stay tuned. P.S. Don't forget Shabbat services on Friday December 28 in CC.

Looking Forward to Seeing You

The blog entries have been admittedly sparse lately as we wound up and out of Thanksgiving. Winter has arrived right on time on the Oregon coast and we are hunkered down during a fierce wind storm as this writing, hoping the power doesn't go out before I hit the 'send' button. Attendance at our Saturday morning Shabbat services in Brookings continues to increase as members learn how conveniently located we are. I am especially glad to be able to announce our Chanukkah party will take place at the ship on the 8th as planned. Please take the time to leave comments or send an email if you want to leave feedback on the site, TBS goings-on, or anything else.
